The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support.

Responsibilities:

The pharmacy intern, under the supervision of a preceptor pharmacist, will assist in the technical and clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.
Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality.
Does related work, as required.
Maintains competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

High School graduate or GED.
Enrolled in an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
Active Registered Pharmacy Intern in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by state of employment.
IV Certification or training, based on state requirements.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
