Job Description
About the Role
Jade Global Solutions LLC is seeking an Iron Worker Helper to assist ironworkers and welders with material preparation, tool organization, steel installation support, and worksite cleanup. This position is suitable for someone willing to learn and perform hands-on tasks under supervision.
What You'll Do
Move and organize materials using approved methods and equipment.
Prepare tools and supplies for fabrication and installation tasks.
Assist with measuring, marking and cleaning metal under supervision.
Help position materials and support qualified workers as directed.
Assist with loading and unloading materials within assigned training and authorization.
Use hand and power tools only as instructed and within your training.
Keep work areas clear, inspect tools and report damage or unsafe conditions.
Follow site safety procedures and wear required protective equipment
Operate machinery only when trained and authorized for the assigned equipment.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
No previous experience required; willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Ability to work dependably as part of a crew and learn safe tool use.
Attention to safety, organization and punctuality.
Must have safety boots
Preferred Qualifications
Previous construction, metalworking or general labor experience. Basic familiarity with measurements and common jobsite tools.
Work Requirements
Work involves prolonged standing, bending, and moving or positioning materials in outdoor and shop environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, and dust.
