Latitude is seeking a New York City area-based experienced immigration lawyer to assist a New York-based immigration law firm on a remote basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with immigration law experience who is looking for a remote part-time position to supplement their own solo legal practice.
\n \nRequirements for the New York City Area Attorney with Immigration Law Experience:
\n· 5+ years of practice handling immigration matters, including immigration related hearings
\n· Capable of working independently
\n· Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.
\n· Outstanding references
\n· Active law license in any state and in good standing
\n \nPosition Details for the New York City Area Attorney with Immigration Law Experience:
\n· Type of Role: Contract
\n· Schedule: As needed (up to 15 hours per week)
\n· Start date: Mid-to-late October
\n· Location: Remote in the New York City area (but must be able to appear at hearings in person)
\n \nCompensation
\nPay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $175,000 to $225,000 on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
\n \nBenefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
