Summary :
Performs, edits and confirms routine and specialized EKG's (right sided; rhythm strips; etc). Completes all appropriate paperwork including computer entry. Assists with event recorders as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: 1. Formal Education Required :
a. High School graduate or equivalent with further education and/or courses in the health care profession (such as: EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant Courses, Nursing, certification in Basic and/or Advanced Life Support, CPR)
2. Experience & Training Required :
a. Prior EKG experience/EKG certification or equivalent training
b. Additional on the job training to learn application and removal of Holter monitors and event recorders
c. Must have BLS/ CPR within 6 months of hiring.
d. Prior experience in the health field would be preferred

4. Level of Physical Demands:
a. Light: Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to ten pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force continuously

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
