Nebraska Life celebrates the people, places and businesses that make the state special. Our print and digital advertising helps businesses and tourism organizations connect with readers interested in exploring Nebraska.

The Role

We’re looking for a Nebraska-based salesperson who enjoys meeting people, building relationships and helping businesses reach new customers.

You’ll work with business owners, tourism organizations and marketing teams across Nebraska to recommend advertising that fits their goals, budgets and seasons.

You’ll bring in new advertisers and help existing accounts grow from issue to issue, with introductions to established advertisers and support from our design and production team.

What You’ll Do

• Connect with prospective advertisers by phone, email and in person.
• Recommend and sell print and digital advertising for Nebraska Life.
• Prepare proposals, close sales and coordinate advertising materials on deadline.
• Stay in touch with existing advertisers, manage renewals and find opportunities to grow their accounts.
• Keep account records and follow-up plans current in our CRM while working toward sales goals.

Qualifications

• Nebraska residency and the ability to travel for client meetings.
• Confidence starting conversations, presenting ideas and asking for the business.
• A friendly, professional approach with business owners.
• Good organization and reliable follow-through.
• Initiative and the ability to manage your work independently.

Sales or customer-facing experience is helpful. Knowledge of Nebraska communities, businesses and tourism is a plus.
