Advertising Sales Representative (Commission-Based, Remote)

ReadingVine (readingvine.com) is a free reading and writing resource site for K–8

teachers and parents. It gets more than 250,000 page views a month, and its weekly

newsletter goes to nearly 40,000 subscribers, most of them teachers. Our sister site,

K12MathWorksheets.com, also has ad space for sale.

The role

We're looking for an independent sales rep to sell advertising and sponsorships to

children's book publishers, education companies, and other brands that want to reach

teachers and parents. This is a commission-only contract role. You set your own hours and

work from anywhere in the United States.

What you'll sell

• Sponsorship packages on ReadingVine that include the weekly newsletter, the daily recap email, sponsored worksheets, and ad spots on book pages
• Dedicated emails sent to the full ReadingVine list
• Header and sidebar ads on ReadingVine and K12MathWorksheets.com, sold for one site or both

What you'll do

• Find and reach out to marketing staff at publishers and education companies
• Walk them through our media kit and prices
• Close sales and collect ad materials for our team
• Keep track of your leads and share regular updates with the founder

What we're looking for

• Experience selling advertising, sponsorships, or media, ideally in publishing or education
• You're comfortable finding your own leads and making first contact
• You write clearly and follow up well
• Contacts in children's publishing or education technology are a big plus

Pay

25% commission on every sale you close, paid monthly.
